I like CentOS as well. It plays very nicely with cPanel and Fantastico which I use all of the time. As far as Ubuntu goes, I have always seen it more as a desktop OS. I have installed Ubuntu Server for a few clients and they seem happy with it, but for my own purposes, CentOS plus cPanel is the way to go.

Well,

I have been through four hosts in the last year and found nothing reliable yet.

I started out with Globat, only to discover their hidden fees. I then switched to ANHosting and quickly grew sick of their Ukranian Tech support.

I also tried a dump called webSite Source out of texas and stayed with them less than two weeks. They had no support and refused phone calls.

My latest adventure has been with EMONSTER Hosting. Off an on stupid issues for months now. The latest is that he has overloaded the drive where 69 of us share space and now none of us can FTP into the server.

He wants to move my five domains to another server that shares an IP block with one of the biggest Spammers on the internet. No thanks!

So, I am looking for a new host again.

I need a price less than $15 a month if possible.
I need to run 7 domains currently, more later.
Each domain must have it's own separate account, stats and configuration.
The whole block of domains can share a decent amount of Bandwidth and Storage Space. Emonster claimed he was giving me 10 GB of Storage and 400 GB of transfer.
I need unlimited emails and Pop3's even if I never use them.
I need Linux, not Windows.
I may have subdomains.
I do have one domain name already aliased to another.

I need 24/7 tech support by email and a management phone number I can call if the results are not good.

I want someone who understands business and not just some slug overselling crap for Godaddy or some other major hosting source.

5 domains are currently functioning, 2 more will be registered by September.

I think if you want them on seperate accounts for each domain you might need a little more than $15.

Well, I can go up to 19 but only if it is a really solid deal. I've looked at VPS but I don't know enough UNIX to be my own server master. Plus I really don't have the time to set it all up.

I checked into Marblehost today and their chat was broken. I let them know and they told me "I was the only one to complain." I hate that phrase. They lose the revenue and they get a negative comment here.

Yes i have to say VPS would not suit you, because you simply do not need that level of control, but a small reseller maybe would allow you to have multiple accounts and is very easy to manage and if you had any problems would just be a case of asking, i know of a small UK reseller which is £8/month ($16ish)
