And even for that price, I'm not sure you could find a 2.5TB storage disk.

I pay 88 CHF (around 85$) a month to a dual Xean 3 Ghz (it makes 4 cores), with 4 Gb of ram and 80 Gb of disk and 250 GB traffic included (100 mbps peak 10 mbps permanent).
It's a blade server that I lease from month to month. And so far, I'm pretty happy with it.

I had shared hosting on several hosts, and I do have seen a considerable change in the response time since I switched them to this server. And I'm talking only about the load time of my pages.
The fact is that any server that is really tuned and not overcrowded can make a serious difference.

They're gone. I'm afraid this is just another "I want everything for $5/mo" hosting inquiry.

It is going to be very difficult to find a host for that price.

Try getting an unmanaged dedicated server from ThePlanet. You may get some good deals there.

I think he meant resource effective.

I can't see why you would need SO MUCH SPACE, try http://www.dedicatedbox.net, they have good prices and you can say you need 2.5k GB and see what they say, they support, 10Mbps Umetered Connections, 100Mbit Metered or 1Gbit connections if you ask for it

I think the error has taken place, because it is impossible to get dedi of such space for that money.

Anyway it is possible to order a custom server specs from some provider. It is much more comfortable if the provide has the customizing wizard on their site like Hqhost.net: the server with that amount of HDD and largest ram will cost $684.

Good luck man...the cheapest webhost you will find that will over you 2.5TB/month is at least $160/month. Just go with a dedicated because that's the only way you are going to be able to do exactly what you need.

Softlayer is a bit pricey but they are excellent in all regards, either that or go with a VPS which will be a lot cheaper but will allow you to still have shell access to control what you can install and use.

I dont know why people are saying I wont find a host that offers this I have pointed out two in a post I put in earlier!

Go buy "unlimited" (sniger) hosting host 2.5TB of data and go have fun see how long it lasts, dont ask for people which probaby know and understand the industry more than yourself and alot of these people here have been on the web and as i say in the industry before i was bored.

Dont ask and then complain when people tell you the truth.

I asked, then found so shut the hell up! maybe you should start reading abit more before you start with the judgments!

I don't think your going to find very much at that budget for what your looking for.

I belive he will find and then in few days we will have one more nagative review there.
