Would you mind post here shared web hosts that support FFMPEG. I have done some research and have to admit that there are not to many web hosting companies offers supporting that.
On my personal point of view Downtownhost.com is the best one with this feature. What are others? Can they beat them. According to my research - no. Or?
Just would like you share your oppinion on them and as well on other companies as others points of view.

FFMpeg ... hm ... as I see you need hosting that supports media streaming features. ServerPoint.com is good for that as they provide Macromedia Flash and Shockwave, Windows Media Player, RealAudio�/Video, Quicktime, MPEG, and others (all via HTTP streaming), support for MIDI, IPIX, Fractal images, PNG images, VRML and support for hundreds of file formats on their shared web hosting.

cirtexhosting, ixwebhosting etc. are decent web host that offers ffmpeg.

I'd say that a thorough research on any host, and especially ixwebhosting (also operating under the hostexcellence name) is very much necessary before signing up.

And I think that need you needto remember that all is limited and depending on your size you might need more then shared web hosting

DownTownHost.com supports not only FFMPEG but FFMPEG-PHP as well. What is the difference between them? Do they work only under Linux?

Hmmm... good question.

I run a couple clipshare based sites on Infrenion. I would recommend them to anyone looking for FFMPEG hosting.

Serverpoint.com must be included to the list. On their shared web hosting that is allowed.
