Which free SFTP client do you recommend for the Mac? I heard of CyberDuck. But don't know of any others, so I have nothing to compare it with. Is CyberDuck what I should use, or is there something better? Remember, I'm only interested in free ones.

You can try FileZilla for Mac OS. I don't really know if there is a difference between ports but it has the same version as the Windows so probably it will work the same just like in Windows. FileZilla is definitely the best Free FTP client out there.

If that was designed for Mac you can use that. What I recommend is visiting Macforums. I assume that experts are there.

You can go here its a Mac software download site. You can read there some users comment that have run FileZilla on Mac, their review are quite positive. Hope you try it yourself. The previous link here for you to choose which compatible version of Filezilla your processor platform of your Mac runs( Intel or G4). Filezilla is definitely on top of all those other FTP Clients. Its a close battle between Cyberduck and Filezilla but Filezilla can offer your needs from being a newbie to an advance user.

Cyberduck will work. I use it all the time. There is also Fugu.

I'd have to vote for Cyberduck. Transmit is a great application if you don't mind spending a little money.
