But if I were in your situation, I would make some comparison between the company, where you want to buy dedi, and Hqhost.net, Ahosting.biz, 7-DNS.NET &inmotionhosting.com
I'm sure that their prices for dedicated server are not very expensive.

I'd like to say that some web hosting companies offers even cheaper dedicated servers. Much depends on your final aim.
Say ServerPoint.com provides dedis starting at $79.99 per month. This offer is for small project. And you may use it the second month free.

I don't see how anyone can comment on the price without knowing more information about the specs. of that server - you haven't mentioned anything about CPU or RAM for example... that makes a huge difference!

However, more importantly the price is relative to what you're looking for. If you're looking for a cheap system you can use for a few high traffic but relatively unimportant personal sites you should take a different service compared to hosting an important corporate or ecommerce site.

Please give us more information about what you are looking for and we can offer better advice.

Are you kidding that is rarity...

An extreme example. But what I mean is that if it's something like an old Celeron it is clearly worth less $/mo than a more up to date quad core Xeon system. So I feel that discussing the quality of the $100 setup + $100/mo pricing is a little bit misleading without full information about this.

Maybe someone would answer the question about the reasonability of that deal? I would like to know something except for suppositions and recommendations.... If that is possible surely...

Als0, if y0u need a dedi, It w0uld be interesting and useful f0r y0u, if y0u specify what exactly are y0u g0ing t0 use it f0r.

Seem's like an OK price, you'll probably get what you pay for. If it was cheaper I'd worry your server's in a strip mall some where and not a real data center.

This is not the way anyone should offer dedicated hosting... at least from my point of view. There are many other thing you have to see in a dedicated hosting offering. Such as server specs.

No doubt its a average price.. The thing you have to look after is support.

Not sure the OP or anyone else asked for suggestions for dedis from other providers? Also I'd like to point out that "good enough to be used" depends entirely on what you're using them for.

The provider that you mentioned may well be suitable for what the OP is looking for (or not) but we don't know enough about what they're looking for to be able to assist in detail with that issue.
