Well, I personally think GoDaddy isn't that great aside from if you've got a huge domain portfolio and where a few dollars per domain matter. If 5 dollars and seven dollars aren't a big difference, I'd suggest another registrar for better support and interface.

a lot is still using Godaddy this days yet a lot complain as well.

Why won't you just get a web host that provides good support to help you out 24 hours specially if you're still starting.

Hello Friends.
I have had a hosting account with GoDaddy for nearly two years. They have excellent support as Virtuous Media detailed, and they are all based in the US. I haven't had any problems with hosting downtime, but I do find the control panel a little lacking. It's also disappointing that I can't assign more than one domain to my plan (I use the economy plan). They have a pretty good webmail though, if you need it, which works on desktops and most mobile devices.

Godaddy is best only with peoples with tight budget like me.
I use godaddy to host my website files and register domains with them.
But i think if you want to make a big site godaddy is not the best one to host site and register domains.

I've used godaddy for a while now. While I wouldn't suggest them if you're planning to make a major website, they are good for buying lots of cheap domains for smaller sites.

They are one of the biggest web host and domain name registrar. I have seen a lot of their reviews. I have to say that big part of them are positive reviews only.

They are definitely THE biggest registrar by a wide margin and as such they are loathed by many but still many more use them and seem to cope more or less well with their services.

I always hear such bad things about them. I'm not sure. Because I use name.com as a domain registrar.

I think that is a kind of norm for such big provider like they are.
