Free Hosting or shared hosting as you say, and 10 sites! Keep in mind, free hosts do have their limits, so be warned, and be patient.

I'm on shared hosting as this suits my needs.
If my needs do change, I would probably switch over to dedicated.

Hello,
I have access to 20+ dedicated servers and virtual private servers. I either get my website hosting with http://www.thehosted.com or http://www.hostingzoom.com. Just depends what I'm looking for at the moment.

So you are using VPS only because you need to have rights? Have you tried shared web hosting alternative (according to your needs) which can provide such rights for you? I believe that will help you to save some money

Absolutely no issues at all. I had a few problems at first with my domains but that was my fault no theirs. Whenever i have any questions i get an answer pretty much straight away and their staff know their stuff.
When you talk to them you get a more personal feeling rather than the robot replies you get from huge companies.
Server loads are constantly low, and speeds are good.
what can i say? They are the best i have ever been with, and at that price you cant complain at all!
Just my oppinion Good luck on your search

Shared Hosting with 1and1 (8 domains) and Netfirms (1 domain). Both are far more than I need.

Fred, did you start with dedicated server or moved from shared web hosting? I know people as rule move to the dedicated server, not start with that.

Aprox 72 sites across 3 shared hosting and 2 VPS. However, I'm moving all the serious sites to VPS because things run so much faster and I can do command line work if necessary.
Best,
Justin
