Accepting payments thru mail?

Well i run Cna Host and I only have one payment gateway and that is paypal, im not at the point where I really want more than 2 gateways. I was wondering if taking payements thru the mail would be a good easier payement gateway since not everyone has a paypal account. I would be accepting the payements thru a P.O. Box that costs $36 USD every 6 months for 5x3in. I would add a 1-2 dollar service charge for the payement with no refund policy for mail in and a 5 dollar charge for insufficent payement. I would remove the service charge only for quarterly payements and above. Any idea's on this?

As many payment gateways you have is better. That will make your service flexible and more affordable for the people with different opportunities.
PS I would recommend you remove the link to your web site from the main post.

Only close friends or your relatives will send you money trough mail. That is very dangerous for new people to you to send you money. They do nopt know you and your company. So far that is not good idea for you

Mail can get lost. How will you handle that kind of situation?

Mail takes time. How will you handle "it's in the mail" procrastinators?

Credit cards are owned by billions people around the world. I think that something like 2checkout server your payments needs.
Hope that helps

Customers may not be comfortable to wait more to get an account activated. So probably they won't choose the mail option.

No one will send your money. That is not chargebackable. You can get the money and ignore your customers which have paid for the services

Well what about using a cc processing gateway thats in whmcs? Since you have to create a paypal account to use a credit card on it and some people don't want to do that.

have you tried 2checkout, you should give a refund, if people aren't happy with your service they will want a refund and if you don't give it can just file a claim in real life even if they had done it by BACS or check they can take it up in court and make you pay. Not offering a refund will just make clients not go with you, they need flexibility.
