Hi

I want to set up an email account in cpanel, is there a way to do this that I can log directly in to the email account like www.mydomain.com/mail without having to log in to cpanel and then click on mail then on manage accounts etc. I want the email address to be myname@mydomain.com

Yes, you can get the better info from them. Let us know if problem persist.

If they kept it at default - It's going to be www.yourdomain.com:2095

or just go to webmail.yourdomain.com and itll work perfect

either that or use roundcube. Download then host it .

Naah!

Horde is far better than Roundcube

,aybe it is ive never used horde

As far as I know you need to download nothing if you have Cpanel. You just need to choice and use one of them

yourdomain.com/webmail should work too.

Just set up horde in your subdomain like mail.domain.com

I believe that the main issue is email address installation. As Chris said ask your web host for the help. And I would recommend not to use web mail. Thunderbird will make you happy.

As another option you can use gmail to collect and send mail from your domain too.

I have all my domain accounts come in through gmail

Or use Google aps.

Once you have set up your email (which your host can help you doo) just use Outlook to read the mail.

tools>email accounts

than add new.

Enter your email details (as set up in cpanel) and outlook will retrieve your emails when you open it up.
