I have a question to the web hosting providers: Have you noticed some sales reducing recently?

Well, it has been fluctuating for us since past few months. This can be related to the current market condition. I have spoken to some of the friends in web hosting business and they have observed increased amount of cancellations.

Global economic crisis may have influenced hosting field also as any other businesses.
So there may be some drop in sales. Agree with Rick in that point about cancellations. It seems those who host some less important sites quit the industry by cancelling their accounts.

Yes I am agree with iHubNet-Matt, It’s due to Global economic crisis and also increases in the value of $ in some countries.

I see the sales on the same level so far. Thanks God.

We have been expecting that. But reduce have not come yet to us.
I suppose that depends on the your customers. Which regions they are mostly from?

This is something normal. People are engaged with other things to worry. It will be OK again I think.

I'm afraid no one now can confirm that or say for sure.

My sales are the same. I think the web hosting industry is in better shape then all of the other industries.

We've actually noticed an increase in sales, and yearly payments. We've earned almost double our average profit for the past few months.

I've been talking to my friends who are also in this industry they have noticed an increase in ecommerce / biz wanting to go online for the first time to increase there monthly profits. However I've seen a decrease in overall sales for our higher end products like vps and an increase in our starter plan I assume because its cheap.

We have noticed an increase in sales and yearly payments, our profit is up almost 30% in the last few months compared to this time last year.

Sales have been steady as usuall.

Sales for shared and dedicated servers are increased.

Yeah. I have seen recently lots of the web hosting companies have appeared. I have no idea how overselling or not overselling they are then

I think it fluctuates with the way things are these days. I'm sure things will pick up after the middle of this year. Just ride it out

There might have been a decrease in sales because of the economy but this varies for everyone.

I can confirm the increased number of cancellations. On the other hand, the number of new orders increased in past months.
