I have used Google Anlytics, AWStats and Webalizer, but can anyone recommend any other software where I am able to produce custom reports.

Eg the amount of traffic between two dates?

I believe that named ones more then enough. May I ask you here whty do you need more? Aren't you satisfied with results you have with those ones?

Google analytics offer custom reports now. You can see the link in the left menu in the bottom.

What are they? To look for them he should at least be aware of them and of that what he is looking for.

I use analytic report.. but after I use Google Analytic never move to othrs and I forget othres now...best and accurate always

I believe that having diffrent sources for the stat information will help you greatly. I do agree that working with one source is much more easier, but anyway

Id say statcounter and google analytics, but in my opiniopn stick with google analytics as it has a better interface than the rest and is reliable. But i think AWStats is more accurate than analytics though, id still stick with analytics though.
