Hiya folks, ok, I use two host services (for different types of site)
I use *TB*Berkus server for predominately non-commercial sites, such as registered charities, or perhaps GENUINE struggling artists, or folks just getting started. The owner actually doesnt charge as such, but simply asks for
honour. For example, if you find you make a few quid whilst showcasing your work (hosted on his server) it might be good to repay the favour. Now we are talking minimal, and ONLY when you can actually AFFORD it. Im being honest here!...It includes web based email and FTP...cant be bad!
This guy is great,. he's about 53? and has MS, Ive known him (he's the reason I got started in design) since 1996. In that time, I have now directed over 146 artists his way. And they all say the same. He charges nothing, and never asks...seriously, but recently, I have posted a message at the Bryce Forums,

Second, for commercial sites and my clients, I use
http://www.qawebhosting.com I just find the prices VERY fair, and the service fluid and unfaultable. The guy who runs it is called Phil, (never met him) but he does a good job. Even if I have stoooopid questions, I get an email back within say 15-20mins? Anyhoos...thats my pick!
