I assume that is not be a problem for the web hosting service providers to share here their thought regarding web hosting packages which are most popular among their customers?

What kind of packages do you mean. If you can make it a bit more clear you may be able to get the responses you expect exactly.

I think most of the people take the Baby Package of Hostgator as they can host unlimited sites in it.

That is not about hostgator. I suppose that is the question to the web hosting companies mostly. I have to say that shared web hosting service is the most popular one within our company

Almost all the providers offers unlimited domain hosting as addon domains. So it is a quite common thing in hosting industry.

Found many plans in godaddy... all are afordable.. also they are covering all the area like hosting (shared,vps,dedicated and reseller), they are the no1 registrar tooo.. SInce long yrs m with them and good exp

OK if you are a customer of them and if you are satisfied with them that is nice to hear. But as rumsfo said no need to specify a provider's name every where unnecessarily. It is better to post a review on them with your experiences. That will be helpful for the community. And there are so many other providers also which is having good uptime and reliability.

I think most people buy the 1gb space and 10gb bandwidth packages these days.. for the starters..

I think that the hosting plan choice really depends on several facts: how long a customer has been in business and actually the business type itself.

Customers who only launch on-line site/store choose minimal shared plans (up to 5-10 Gb of space and 10-30 Gb of bandwidth) and that is reasonable for beginners. Also it is always possible to upgrade to the higher plan when required.

As for large companies who work that handle large-scale projects - they take powerful plans, and usually they know what they need very well.
