Greetings Everyone --

I know TMP stands for temperary (99% sure), but that folder is automatically created every time I edit/add a page on my server. I use web hosting with yahoo. The folder contains nothing, it's just a folder. I was just wondering what it is for. Does anyone know?

TMP Folders creates to run the temporary processes of your domain on the server..once your process completes..it should be removed.

Plus they can be hidden (if they so annoying for you)

That is folder for the temporary files.
What is web application you are using? Perhaps you can hide this folder?

Unless they do not annoy you just ignore them
