Rodney from RHWebHosting contacted us via LiveChat wanting to purchase web hosting. After purchasing his web hosting, he mentioned that his hosting business was going under and that he would be willing to send his clients to us. Since he mentioned that he had 700+ clients, obviously that was a little bit exciting. I researched his company name and found no alarming posts and everything seemed legit. He was supposed to mass mail his clients telling them how they could switch and I was even willing to pay for their domain transfer and give them 1 month free to ensure that the majority of them would actually switch. Since then, I have seen no email and he replied with the following email:

"Basically about 90% of them registered under the email address attached to their domain, hence my mail server, still sent the mail out most got bounced back sorry about getting your hopes up a bit."

This was after I comped his hosting plan as a thank you. Just wanted to pass the word on to you folks in case you're ever contacted.

Why don't leave the idea being with them and move to better place?

This isn't a review of a web host. I am a web host. The gentleman from RHWebHosting contacted me saying his 700 some clients were in limbo because his servers were shut down by his partner. He then said that he would pass along the clients to me.

After expressing concern that his clients were probably getting mad at him for their sites being down for about a week he said he would send them an email letting them know how they could get set back up (with my company) but never did.

This is not a review, I did not host with them. Its a B2B discrepancy that I thought other web hosts who participate in this forum should watch out for.

That is general forum with the section for the web hosting. If you want you'd better do the search for their representative on the WHT which is more specialized for that

Jesse,
As I recall I was not trying to sell you the clients, I was actually offering them to you without pay, and due to having a screwed up partner, and alot of data being lost i could not even reach most clients. I did toss you a couple clients, and yes you comped me a month, which was cool of you.
But as for BEWARE OF RHWEBHOSTING, my business was moral and ethical, I never asked you for a penny for the clients, and you did actually get 2 or 3 clients out of it, as well as a banner placed on a site of one of them.
So if you want to criticize something, at least make your statements correct. No one offered to sell anything to you. I offered to refer any of the clients over to you.
As far as I know yours is the only negative comment on my company in the entire time it was running, unfortunate ending, but thats the way the cookie crumbles. I do wish you well with your endeavors.

But for those reading this thread please not that,
"After purchasing his web hosting, he mentioned that his hosting business was going under and that he would be willing to send his clients to us."
and that there is no mention of my company asking for a comp or for money in exchange.
Sometimes things simply dont work out.

his is really hard to find outstanding hosting but some below points could make difference.
1) Reliability
2) Instant support
3) cheaper than others but service is equivalent to others
4) Server Response
