I've tried blue host, dreamhost and also hostgator.. all of them have been good and the plans for wordpress blog hosting were good. The customer service etc. everything has been good with all the three, but out of them, Hostgator would be the ultimate choice due to the flexibility in setting up of the wordpress blog.

The cPanel section with Hostgator has the fantastico section where you can install wordpress in a few clicks and hostgator's customer service has always been one of the best.

Just Host is a good hosting provider. It offers unlimited disk space, bandwidth and MySQL databases at cheap prices.

I think that is not a problem at all. whatever linux web host you use you can get the latest version of the web application for free on the official site. Upload on the server, install and redo or change the skins.
I think that is easy to find web hosting (linux) then the one with one click installer

Actually I have more of a question than a comment. Is there anything wrong with using wordpress.com? I didn't read every post here, but saw plenty of suggestions but only one recent post that suggested that one. I would think it would be the best since it is a wordpress site. I would certainly hope they would know what they were doing with their own material.

Hi I am new here but I use Hostgator with wordpress the reason is I can get an unlimited amount of websites on one hosting for under $10. That and it takes only a minute to load wordpress with fanfastico that Hostgator supplies. But I would check what is out their that meets your needs.Then as a beginner I have used their support and found it way better than most.

There may be some issues with various Wordpress plug-ins. If you have a clear idea what you want to install I'd contact the presumptive host personally before signing up.

Do these free hosting sites give you ftp access and do you have fewer restrictions with regards plugins than you have if you host through Wordpress?

I'm sure 95% of linux based web hosts will work for you.

I signed up with ipage a few ago and I really them! They dont offer a control panel, the interface is pretty cool

look into www removed for wordpress hosting. they offer competitive pricing and nice set of features.

many hosting providers can offer to wordpress installation...
but you must makes compare with another company...or you can asking in many forum to ger a good hosting providers ..

Most sites that say Best Wordpress Hosting and so on, are usually hypes, bulls.

1. Either you go according to what Wordpress thinks best in their unofficially accredited and recommended web hosts, or

2. Go for a good web host, with good uptime and support.

Don't believe in "We are the best in Wordpress hosting" or "Best Blog Host".
