My work uses Ipower for their website, been using them for years and never had any problems and good support. I personally use Hostgator and have had the same good experience. I've never used or known anyone who hosts with fastdomain.

Fastdomain is just another name for Hostmonster and Bluehost. I've used HM, and they're let's say so-so.
I've used fatcow, which is owned by the same company that owns ipower. The server is quite stable, but slow.

Did you already check hostgator? I've used them for the last three years, and haven't experienced any downtime, and happy with their support.

ditto that, like i said, I use hostgator, my work uses ipower...I dont really care for ipower's control panel as much as I do CPanel. And sometimes theyre server(s) is/are slow, dunno how many they have....Ipower that is...

Probably well into the thousands (speaking about their shared hosting). They're not a small time host.

I suppose that you can ask both of them for the test accounts and compare the quality

Use search engines such as: Google, Yahoo or Bing. Each search engine will provide you with unique information. I've personally never used iPower or FastDomain. I strongly suggest looking at both companies and weighting the pros and cons. Best of luck!

You always get what you pay for with Web hosting. If cost outweighs service, go with the cheapies but good luck getting any kind of support.

Also that would be better to do let us know what exactly you are looking for.
I believe a lot of web hosting companies can be added to the list

I can attest to them being very good indeed. In the 5 years I've been using shared hosting there, I can only recall a couple of downtimes longer than 1 hour. Really stable service.

Fast domain offer “unlimited space” but you cannot host an unlimited number of files or video files !! It’s better to use a limited space account from other webhoster!! I've never used iPower and don't have an idea about that...

They're not the only company that has a file count limit (see http://www.techbyct.com/node/1 for a list). They do let your files be as large as you want though, but do max out at 50 thousand. Not a good plan for heavy duty photographers but would work for a lot of other businesses.
As someone who hates calling support (though the few times I've called it went very well), I love their video tutorials: http://tutorials.fastdomain.com/

FastDomain is quite good. Their plan features good deals. They offer wide choice of plans to suit any type of business, starting at a cost of just $3.95.

I've read both good and bad reviews for these two host providers but they are both relatively OK since you're going for a cheap host provider which i'll like you to reconsider bcos you don't want to compromise quality for anything.
