if you are so worried about shared hosting trafic , then people recomment t go with media temple which they claim the digg proof hosting.

I use hostgator - no problems with them so far, highly recommend them.

I now have no need to worry about it because my site has less than 1,000 unique IPs one dayl

Good to hear you found a host. In response to your initial question. The actual amount of visitors won't affect the server load to much depending on the website you have online. I think you should be fine with any shared plan really. Unless the host has overloaded it with tons of accounts. You can also check in with their support team and find out if it is ever a concern. I think the end user which have no idea how web hosting works will never determine that. That is impossible at all
