You do realise your questions on hosting throw SERIOUS doubts on the capabilities on the hosting company you are promoting or purporting to be in your signature.

people actually look at signature links?

@OP i thought reseller hosting was just re-badging someone else's hosting, how would that effect bandwidth?

When choosing between the two,its important to keep yourself aware of the requirements of your website. The amount of security, freedom and budget are also soem of the essentials when choosing a package.
A dedicated sever would be an ideal choice if you wish to be the sole user of the server with dedicated resources and complete control over the server. With it you get complete root level access to the server. You are free to use the server as per your requirements.Bear in mind that dedicated servers are costlier than reseller packages. On the other hand,if your only intention is to have more server resources than the shared package then, reseller hosting package would be just the choice.

Dedicated server like a field without any plant on it and you have ability to do whatever you want with that.
Reseller account that is like a ground area created for growing only one kind of the plants.

they are different purposes of usage those services. With reseller web hosting you can only resell and host and that is what it

Reseller hosting does not require extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of web hosting. The reseller account owner has the ability to use allotted hard drive space and bandwidth to host websites on behalf of third parties. In dedicated hosting the client leases an entire server.Dedicated hosting is more flexible.

Reseller web hosting is specific web hosting account which is designed for the resellers with special control panel. As usual used for the reseller accounts. But sometimes that is used for the own needs
Dedicated sever is mostly used for the own projects

Maybe it's not his company, and he's just paid to do what he just did. The link still carries some SEO weight, doesn't it?

So you would be happy when a forum post/thread apparently advertising your company, turns up when a potential customer is doing a "due diligence" search. And the post makes the representative of your company appear to know nothing at all.

Real people will always tell others about the "bad" things they have heard/seen/read.

Would you run run an advertising campaign that shows how little you know?

I suppose that is enough to do google search and do own reasearch among definitions. That is not difficult at all. And that is the way to hide that you do not know something about web hosting especially such basic things

I think if you are looking to do hosting you could start with a reseller account first. No need to go dedicated right from the start if you want to start it off slowly in terms of expenses.

Dedicated also means way more expenses unless you know completely what you are doing.

Dedicated hosting is used by most people. The reseller hosting is used for those who want to resell hosting packages.

I don't even think this guy cares about the answers. He most likely is being paid to create posts like this (as mentioned by a couple of people above).
