On November 25th, I signed up for a PLATINUM reseller account at SurfSpeedy.com, I paid them and everything via- PayPal. I then waited about 1-2 hours for my welcome e-mail as it says on their website, "All accounts are setup within 15 minutes of payment or you receive 1 month of hosting for free". I never recieved the welcome e-mail to this point.

I contacted the Support department and they told me my account would be setup within 5-10 minutes. So, I said thank you and ended the chat session.

About 30-40 minutes later, I contacted the Sales department asking what was taking so long, and the person in the sales live chat session named Jayvee refused to setup my account, and said it would not be setup, I was given no reason why.

I then asked Jayvee if she/he would please refund my money I had sent via- PayPal, Jayvee refused to refund the payment.

It states on SurfSpeedy.com, that they give a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.

They have already broken their promise to me 2 times, reguarding the 15 minute account setup, and their money back guarantee.

I then continued to file a dispute with PayPal explaining this problem I am having.

Thanks For Reading, I hope this will help someone in the future.

So they just told you right out that they wouldn't setup your account AND they wouldn't refund your money? WOW that's the worst one I have read in a long time. Good luck with getting your money back!

Hi,

I hate scam hosts. You should goto www.badwebhosts.com and add them to the bad web host section!!

On behalf of the web hosting industry I would like to apologize to you ClanFOE. Unfortunatly there are many dishonest hosts out there and I hope you get your situation resolved quickly.
There are still many many hosting companies out there that will treat you right, you will find yours. Good luck with all your online endeavors.

I'm sorry as well. I am also apologizing on behalf of all the good webhosts out there.

One thing to keep in mind: Do your homework before going in to a host.
