I'm seeking for new reseller account to move. Currently I have the one, but due to the account type or something else I need to spend a lot of time for providing support for my customers. And that is not reseller account at all it is part of VPS I share with another guy.
I have looked thorough different web sites of web hosting providers learning reseller accounts: hostgator looks good , but no support....
At the moment I about to sign up with innohosting.com. They can give me support (what I need) and offer some promising add-ons.
I wonder if anyone here (search seems not help here) have ever used innohosting's reseller account?
Would love to here some thoughts/feedbacks regarding end user support.

It's terrible when you have to do some work for the money the customers pay you!!!


Providing support is one of the things you may have to do when supposedly selling yourself as a hosting company!!!!

Do not want to.... Hosting is not main service, so I want to provide that and do not spend time. And it seems such opportunities exist so why don't use them after specifying all details?


Of course shame on me - I do not want even do something in this way. But this time I can't afford spreading for web hosting support.

If YOU are reselling the hosting it does NOT matter whether it is the "main service" or not.

It is YOU that YOUR customers pay money to, so IF you don't want to provide the support to your customers DO NOT provide the hosting!!

It's true, as a reseller the hosting company leasing the server to you passes all customer service to you as well. Maybe you can freelance some customer support issues, while handling the higher security issues yourself?

I totally agree no matter if it's your main service or not. If you offer it then your always going to have to deal with the issues.

Do they provide in-house support on their reselling?

As far as I understand web hosting is not main service you provide. Maybe that is vise decision to find web hosting company which will take care of that. If you had not found that you would have done something to provide it or sell web hosting business.

I think that each web hosting company is unique. And it differs from company to company. And if you are looking at the certain web hosting company you should contact your company and ask for the details

Personally, I see no issue with end user support, and say web designers using it as a way to provide their few hosting customers with 24/7 support when doing so on their own would be uneconomical.

Innohosting has been around for a long time, and there's plenty of feedback to be found about them at webhostingtalk.com for example. Most I've seen is quite positive.

To be honest I completely agree. I think if you're looking to grow in the web hosting business it is vital to provide your own support.

That being said I think it would be a good idea to find a reseller host with end-user support if you're selling hosting to friends/relatives or if you’re already offering web related services.

I read a lot of reviews on various web hosting related forums and from what I have read Innohosting hosting are very popular and have positive reviews.

If web hosting is not core service I would agree with OP and I agree with Dan, The company you are looking at has pretty good reputation on WHT

I suppose in any case providing your own support to your customers is the best option here and that will make your service more professional.

I agree because you need to get started providing and to get some skills. But in this situation I do not think that OP is interested in learning or getting any skills.

Innohosting have really dedicated service but they offer only reselling to shared clients if that's what you're looking for. That means no reselling of reseller accounts.

Most services which are called "web hosting reseller" means reselling shared web hosting or reseller accounts (reseller hosting for resellers).
I do not think people with brand new web sites will need dedicated server IMO

Think shared account will be enough for beginning.

I do not think that will be allowed on the shared web hosting. Perhaps some web hosting companies will allow reselling on shared web hosting account. But what will you do without control panel? Without billing panel?
