Number of web hosting control panels are offered by various web hosting providers.I've used DotNet Panel and Plesk for Windows and cPanel for Linux. But I am more comfortable with using cPanel.
Out of curiosity,I would like to know your preferred control panel and for what reason.

I am sure the most expectable answer will be cPanel. But those may not have experience with any other control panels. As you have experience with 3 of them, it would be great if you can compare them in detail.

I was able to do what I needed to, using any control panel that the host happened to be using. However, given that I'm most familiar with cPanel, I'm most comfortable using it. That doesn't mean I see it as "the best" or anything like that.

I mean, I'm used to my car, and out of all cars out there, I would be most comfortable driving it, but I can't say I have the best car on the market.

With that in mind, cPanel is still probably one of the best control panels out there.

Nice example Dan! That means that CP is not the main part of nay web hosting account. The control panel can be the same but service different

I like Cpanel because it is simple and userfriendly. For Windows server HELM is best one

I think the OP is referring to cPanel, Direct Admin, Plesk, etc.

WHMCS is a different product for different purpose.

I think the only one. Once you decide to move you will be able top do that easielly switching from Cpanel to cpanel.

i should say, cpanel is good enough until i have remote desk, this way i can configure Apache myself.

by the way, i have not tried others yet.

The advantage of CPanel is that it is very much a standard, although this might also turn into a drawback. But right now it works out fine for many hosts and customers alike.

That is most used. But I'm not sure what distract people from using web hosting. A lot of people are ok with Plesk and no one have said yet that is bad control panel

Plesk too is good, but cPanel tends to take a upper stand when compared with using it on Linux Servers. If you wish to have a control panel for Windows,then Plesk is what most of us would suggest. cPanel IMO is perfect for managing accounts hosted on Linux servers.
There is also a good news from cPanel, they are soon going to make an official release of their control panel for Windows named as "Enkompass"
