I have a client with team members spread out around the world.

They need to migrate from one web host to a different web host.

However they want to keep all there existing email addresses and email history. They use web mail only (not a desktop program like Outlook / Thunderbird).

Is there an easy way to migrate all their email data, the same way as migrating web files via FTP?

Yes, you can copy all the content of your email addresses from the exisiting email server and upload it through another server. The alternative to this you can also download all your emails using any email client tool like MS Outlook or Outlook Express.

The client is using Yahoo! Business Email. A web mail hosting service.

Do you know if Horde fetch mail would work with that?

Should do, it has a POP3 interface.

Its easy to do just copy the content from existing content and upload it on desired one.By using email client you can also do it.

Only paid subscribers have POP3 with yahoo as far as I know.

Yahoo! Business Mail IS a "paid service"

If he is using email client all emails should be on his local computer.
