*important hosting question for email marketing

Hello all, I am looking for a web host in which I can send up to 200,000 e-mails a day. I currently use Go Daddy, and I am stuck with a daily limit of 999 e-mails per day per hosting account. I would be 100% compliant with the CAM-Spam Act and would be looking to use a Web server e-mail marketing program that I have.
I would want to make sure that I would not be blacklisted, and as I have said and re-iterate, I will not be a spammer and will be in compliance with the law. I want to do whatever else that I can do to make sure that I am not blacklisted; and this is time sensitive because I am going to be out of the country visiting my grandparents in about a week, and I need to have this done by then because I want to have all this set up through Cron server so I don't have to rely on the Internet speed of a third country.
Any input or comments would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much for your time and help.

Hello,
Are you looking for shared hosting? If so I believe it will be very hard if not impossible to find a shared host that will allow you to send 200,000 in 1 day. Most shared hosts will allow around 500 (double opt-in) emails to be sent per hour so even then that's only 6000. Am I right to assume that these are double opt-in subscribers? You also mention setting this up through cron? Do you have a different newsletter planned for different days? Either way I think you're going to be looking at a VPS or dedicated to be able to send that many emails in one day.
Hopefully someone will have a good solution.
Jack

Thank you for your response. It was very thoughtful and appreciated. I hope I will find something suitable as well. I have different email campaigns/templates I will send out. I have access to a tons of marketing emails so quantity of emails or new emails won't be a problem. Thx again..

Just yesterday I was researching email hosting/newsletter hosting providers, and this would be the (surely incomplete) list I got: aweber, getresponse, phplist, mailchimp, icontact, imnicamail, constantcontact, madmimi.
If you want your emails to reach your subscribers, a provider that specializes in this is your best bet. This page might be a good read: http://www.mailchimp.com/page/deliverability/
I'd say that the cost is usually worth the 40% increase in email deliverability.

Well first of all what is your budget? That will determine the type of hosting service to recommend. But, since you're using godaddy i must assume you are on a shared hosting type of plan. There will be very few if any that will allow you to mass email 200k a day without some sort of throttle and by that I mean x amount of emails per hour simply due to server resource limits. In addition, there is always the issue of servers getting blacklisted even if you're can-spam compliant. There is simply too much risk in mass emailing for a hosting provider to assume.
You can get cheap dedicated servers nowadays for as low as $60/mo that I've seen maybe even cheaper. Is that out of your budget? That's the only route I would recommend for mass emailing otherwise you'll be back here asking for new provider suggestions.

I want to use my own email marketing script on my server...and that budget fits in what I am looking for. Is there anyone or anywhere you woudl suggest because this is time sensitive as I will be out of the country on Wednesday and need this all set up as I can not rely on the internet speed of a third country that I am going to..

(Btw I am same user who started this post) ....What godaddy is offering are private dedicated servers which according to the person I spoke with, "start out with" a limit of 5000 emails per day but then I can request to them for a higher limit and then I can send it to the high limit of emails per day that I need as long as I am in CAN-SPAM Act compliance....I rather not take a risk and this is all so time sensitive....any other input would be highly appreciated so I can figure out what to do!

When doing your research make sure to carefully read the provider's Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Many won't care if you are Can-Spam compliant, they will cancel your account if they receive a certain number of complaints. Also check their definition of bulk email, some say that if you send a substantially similar email to X number of people it's bulk emailing (and not allowed).

Its impossible to find any hosting provider that will facilitate with unlimited emails. Most of providers just give 500 emails per day not more then this if you will exceed from the given number, you will be banned.

It's not impossible to find a provider that allows more than 500 emails a day, though it does mean you will have to pay more that 1$ a year!!!

I am in search of a web host that can enable me to send unlimited emails. The current service provider restricts my ability to send emails in a day.

No host in their right mind is going to give ANYONE unlimited email sending capability on a shared server.
You will have to have a VPS or a dedicated server where you set the limits AND YOU accept the consequences.

The OP will definitely need a VPS at least to do this. He better know the threshold or else things will get ugly real quick.

200K emails a day will need a good powered VPS. Plus, since a VPS is still "shared", sending that much spa.. err email, will get him booted most likely.

And I think that you need to have permission from your web hosting company first of all to send out such amount of emails.

Turn to a hosting company that doesn't have limitations regarding sent mail number.
