Does anyone heard about linux hosting with mb libraries installed or possible to install by administrator -
I have bought hosting in UK fasthost - but is very slow and when I asked customer technical support about mb library - they didn't even know what I was talking about . It's not a proffesional firm - in my opninion , and I know that is impossible to get it from 1and1 - so where to find UK based server with mentioned library ? Any Ideas ?

My website is very simple but so difficult to host - so for now I have found firm in Poland where I can host unlimited domains ( no traffic limit , 50 mysql databases, unlimited domains , unlimited email adresses and many other usefull things - _ everything for GBP 170 / year .

UK based hosting will cost a bit more than that.
A Linux VPS with 15G diskspace and 300Gb/month transfer is a bit over £200 (plus VAT of course)
How many databases, domains, mail boxes etc you want to have is then up to you.

Probably the multibyte handling PHP library:

@uktopwebsites, select a hoster that looks interesting to you, and write them to ask if they support it, or if they are willing to enable/install it.
If they have compiled PHP against it, it's just a matter of enabling it in PHP.ini.

And explain with a bit more details what you need, because for someone that don't use program but administer servers, the "mb library" won't mean anything.

mb library is needed to use mb_strlen function
