well do a reverse ip check and choose another domain. Plenty on there, some set up well and some set up with too many queries.

Several of the replies to your situation may seem harsh and unsympathetic. However, those replies are all correct. You need to determine if this is the business you want to do and, if so, pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and carry on.

Accept failure, as a previous poster said. While a few people do start their first business from scratch and become successful, the vast majority don't. I speak from experience. I help run a small, modest, but successful web hosting company. I failed many times before this venture. It's just the way business goes. The trick is to learn from your failures. GoDaddy may be treating you unfairly (I don't know), but you played a part in getting into this situation. Examine what you can do differently next time, and don't make the same mistake.

Find the good in the failure. In your case, you said even $70 is a big amount to you and that you haven't made much money. In this case, that's good. It means you haven't, and can't, lose a lot from this situation. If you can work things out with GoDaddy, great. If you can't, go to another host. You surely have saved all your files/images/etc. for your website on your PC, so you can easily recreate your site with another host. Before doing so, make sure you have your checklist ready of everything you need from the new host, and a list of things you'll do differently/better this next time around. Then go for it.

Think of business like dating. Not many people go out on their first date, fall in love, and live happily ever after. It usually take a number of bad dates to figure out what you want in life, and what you're doing wrong in life. But eventually a person usually finds the right someone else. Same with business. You need to encounter all sorts of bad situations, some of which you'll be all or mostly responsible for, some of which you'll have little control of. But you need to experience them all in order to find success. If you're honest with yourself about mistakes, and you want it badly enough, and if you're willing to work, work, work, it will come to be a success.

Is this thread still going?

I thing you have had about as much opinion and help your going to get.

People are repeating themselves now.

Yes,
Its a shame,
They did screw you over and yes its not fair.

But worse things happen at sea. As I and many have repeated, Just pick yourself up and brush it off.

<harsh fact>
If you cant deal with this minor irritation then you just are not cut out for running a business.
</hard fact>
