I've only used Hostmonster (Bluehost is the same company), Godaddy and Fatcow from your list. I've listed them in the order of quality, as per my experience.

Looks like the "Top Ten Hosts" from those Hosting Review scam sites.

Only ones I have experience with is FatCow, which I found to be sluggish. I can't comment on the support as I never tested it.

I used JustHost's sister company SuperGreenHosting which I found to have off and on great support, but it seemed the servers were too overloaded or something.

If I were you, I would SAMPLE a few hosts out before choosing one, that way you can decide for yourself which one is the better choice for you. Nowadays, is standard for a host to have a money back guarantee. So long as you don't stay longer than that set amount of time, you can sample a few hosts risk free.

by the way it also depends for which purpose you need the hosting.

Search for each name of web host listed there. Find a much as you can compare results and make decision.

Godaddy is the most well known out of all of them all, but Hostmonster is good also, i would go with one of them two.

From your list godaddy is the best to host your site or to register your domain/transfer.Another good hosting company that i have tried and i am steel a member is 1and1 They have some good service and an affiliate program if you whant to make some money for seling their product

hostgator is better than all the list you have created

I agree that HostGator would be a much better choice than anyone on that list. If I had to choose one from that list I would go with Fatcow.

I agree that 1and1's shared hosting is quite good, right up there as Hostgator.

1and1's affiliate program actually pays for self-sale too, which is quite an exceptional policy.
