What sort of budget do you have? Any specific requirements (besides offshore)? This sort of information will help us to point you in the right direction

Are you sure you even need a dedicated server? Is it even necessary? I know many VPS packages out there that will do what you need at a cheaper cost. Is it the space you need? Any specific features you want?

I believe you know all server specifications you are looking for?

Also you mentioned CentOS and Redhat. There are endless possibilities out there. You really need to be more specific in what you need. If you could give us more details like the features you need or the bandwidth required or even the amount of space you will be needing, this will all make the suggestion process much quicker.

There are plenty of reviews out there you can read and sorry but there are just too many hosts with the broad feature "CentOS and Redhat" so I highly doubt anyone will list ALL of them.

I agree with you. But it seems that the problem is in him as he does not know what he is looking for and if even he needs dedicated server at all.

Exactly. The problem with today's market is everyone wants to overbuy or have stuff they don't really need. Dedicated Servers are heavy duty things and most or average users won't need them.

VPS will do the job even under heavy requirements from what I have found.

I think that is what presales chat is used for.

Yup. I see a lot of hosts and even some big name companies like Verizon moving toward chat sales to get clients. When I chose my host, even though there was available chat, I just talked with someone over the phone for my questions.

I'm a traditionalist in that way I guess.

Many entry level dedicated servers can be sufficient for a lot of sites. Vps is still sort of a shared server. Who really knows how many other vps accounts they might put on 1 server. A good entry level dedicated box that is all your own that your not sharing resources can be more than enough. You just need a reputable company with a good connection. It's the extras that can get you or add up. More cpu, ram, hd, bandwidth, port speed, etc.

Own experience tells about santrex(.net) which is offering affordable offshore dedis. try looking them up.

If you need budget dedicated server, go for burstnet. we has been quite sometime with them. So far not many issue.
