Hi, any one used WHM AutoPilot?

We're using AP now, it's a good piece of software. We are, however in the process of moving to Modernbill, seems to be a much more robust application that will grow with us.

When it comes to customizing WHMAP, they give you no choice in the matter. You can edit the header and footer and that's it. They even use too much Javascript and bad JS at that. WHMAP is great for its simplicity, but it's one of those scripts I'd rate worst for customization.

We use WHMautopilot. It is extremely robust and there is a new verison coming out soon. We have customized the software to our liking. The support at WHMautopilot is probably the best I've seen on web software. For the price you really can't beat it.

Yes, their support is really good. But about the new version coming out soon... I wouldn't hold my breath. They've been saying that for a year now.

Yep, I'm waiting for the new version, however this seems to be doing fine functionality wise. I'm hosting just over 300 clients on this install.

I know what you mean it's a nightmare customising. The wrapper that you have to make dosen't instill any confidence.

Some opt for ModernBill. Is this any different? Does it have the functionality of setting up accounts on the fly? Most poeple who I know have now moved onto ModernBill from WHM.

Don't know why. Perhaps I should ask them.

ModernBill is great however its a little more complex than WHM Auto, if
you are willing to spend the extra on the licences / support then go for
ModernBill.

ModernBill fits nicely with Kayako eSupport

I stripped all the tables out of my AP in the user area, in favor of css. The layout I have for my site needed it. The only regret is the updates, there seems to be one every few weeks and I have to get back in there and rework it all over again. I wish they would create a css only version as the tables are much bigger than they need to be.

I will say I find it easier to use than modernbill and definitly less expensive.
