So I get this when I try to change my nameservers..
"Thank you for contacting Online Support. Please note that changes to the settings of a domain take an average of 48 hours to become effective because of the number of networks involved, and because these networks are controlled by several different agencies. This delay applies to all domains with any Registrar. Please allow for this delay when planning web sites or configuring a domain to work with your services."
I am so confused. I work in web development and when I change nameservers for other people on their platforms like godaddy and all those other ones we always so upto 24 hours but most of the time it takes like 10-20 minutes.
I changed nameservers.
Also changed A record thinking it might be faster.
It has been over 24 hours now.... and whois is showing my updated nameservers..... why when I ping it is still showing my old A record?
Is this because I bought from a 3rd party that might be like a 3rd party of a 3rd party.... meaning crap?
