Maybe you should change a hosting provider, you mentioned GoDaddy above which is not bad, and you might spend little time on practising how to manage VPS hosting much better also, it will be very helpful.

GoDaddy isn't as good in today's industry. They have even moved to a generic control panel which is pretty much useless. I prefer hosts who give you cPanel for free.

They can be good for domain Registration as I heard many positive things - cheap pricing and nice discounts.

It's more to you are overloading it's CPU resources. You might consider Cloud VPS to avoid downtime, the price will be slightly premium, but it's something that provides you with realiability and it's pay for what you use.
