A solid fully managed Linux VPS with at least 512 RAM and 1GB if you can afford it will work wonders for you. If you want to save and have the technical skills, an unmanaged server will do.

If you are just starting out and don't have much traffic then i recommend just going to someone big and reliable when you start to get more traffic you can leave them and go to someone better
