Im a blogger and im running a wordpress blog for last 2 years. i had just a few hundrerd daily visitors. Now my blog was rising up in web ranking. i started to get upto 3 to 4 thousend uniques visitors daily. But the nasty host has suspended my account. they say that my site is making too much load on thier server and it is using excessive cpu usage. the allocated CPU usage is 25%.

i pay them 65$ annually, and it is second time they are suspended my account. they give mey UNLIMITED SPACE and UNLIMITES BANDWIDTH, 1 domain name, UNLIMITES sub domains, php script for 65$ annually. but still my websites creates load for them?and they block it? please tell me what things my package should contain.

please help me that what package i should buy for a wordpress blog that can handle upto 15 thousend dialy unique visitors and my blog only contains TEXT posts with 1 or 2 images on each post. my blog is not so heavy. i do not use much plugins and theme is also very simply.

Get a VPS account with atleast 512 RAM and decent cpu.
Unlimited hosting doesn't mean > unlimited CPU or RAM, its just unlimited space and/or bandwidth with limited CPU/RAM/inodes.
Most people always misunderstand what unlimited things are offered by a webhost.

Keep in mind that a VPS will require management, which, if you can't do it yourself, won't be cheap. A fully managed VPS will likely cost you $40+.

There are so called semi-dedicated accounts out there, that could in theory give you more power than a similarly priced VPS (no more memory overhead, licensing costs etc.).

With thousands of visitors per day, you should be able to monetize the site to cover the costs of the hosting it needs, and give you a decent profit as well. Perhaps while it was small it made little sense to worry about monetizing much, but now it's time to change that.

Often times it's not wordpress itself that is the trouble, but one or more of the plugins you're using. On the other hand, it's highly recommended to have a good cache plugin installed. It will help minimize the CPU usage.

A lot of plugins might kill your database. So what I recommend you first of all is checking and disabling the ones you do not really need. The ones you leave - check if they are updated ones.
In this case I suppose that woulke be good idea to look at the shared hosting packages.

Shared Hosting is not recommended for this kind of traffic.

A VPS with minimum 1GB-2GB RAM would be required to handle that kind of load. It would cost you from 25/mo (unmanaged) to 100/mo (managed VPS).

If you know hot to manage a server, then go with unmanaged. Otherwise, stick to a Managed VPS.

For 500k visitors a month you need a powerful top end VPS/Cloud or dedicated

I assume that you should discuss this with your web hosting provider's sales representative.. see how knowledgeable he is and what he will offer you.

Try to contact the current customers of the web host provider of your choice and see if they are satisfied with the kind of services being rendered by the web host company.

I'd recommend you not to pay yearly if you are not 100% sure in reliability of the company you are going to deal with.. good luck!

I assume that you should go to a few hosting review sites and read what people have said, there is a high chance that a host has written positive things about himself so you are looking for negative reviews because those will tell you the truth.

And of course some hosts are not above having their shills write "negative reviews" about the competition.
Basically "hosting-review" sites are about as reliable as the average TV evangelist.

I believe that the host you are going to use will meet your expectation, but still recommend you to make a kind of comparison research and check more options.
Try to contact them directly and ask for any discounts.

I advise you to compare all web hosting services, as it is a top priority for your new web host business to be well-provided with all necessary tools.

I suggest you VPS cloud hosting to avoid any kind of trouble.

As for me shared hosting from a trustworthy company (godaddy, aspnix, hostgator) will be the best way out fro the topic starter.
