Any idea of using Switzerland server?
I bare in mind removed but have no info about their server reliability.
Have you known them or better options?

A server in located in Switzerland would be no more or less reliable than the same hardware located in Belgium, France Lichenstein or Luxembourg.

Erm?

"become more few"?? Something of a contradiction in terms, even for someone from Delaware with an Indian ISP!!!

I'd recommend you to do a search on all possible hosts based in Switzerland, compare them and then make your final decision.

Why do suggest that your location is somewhere other than your real location?

Well if you were on tour there you wouldn't be logging on from the IP of supportdepartment.net who oddly enough have just logged in to one of our VPS servers from EXACTLY the same IP to do some maintenance I requested a couple of hours ago.

C'mon you don't fool anybody by pretending to be from the UK or the US.
We KNOW where you (and Shirlyn) are from and your main purposes for forum participation.

You may as well be 100% honest about it, because we aren't stupid and trying to deceive us doesn't leave any room for doubt when you do step out of line even slightly.
This doesn't only apply here of course, all forums you all post at will probably be considering things in a similar manner.

Just for the record, I don't think I've ever heard an American use the word 'tour' in that context

Nothing at all wrong with your posts, and as said in many threads on forum signatures, provided the posts are useful to the member asking the question and to the forum readership, both current and in the future, the signature promotion is allowed as a "thank you" gesture.
The problem arises when two members from one IP have the same or similar signature links.
The forum rules here do NOT allow more than one account per person, so it begins to look suspicious, especially when those members are being deceitful with their true location, the question is then "What else is not as it seems"?

Good members are always welcome at forums, regardless of their motive for posting, providing they are adding useful information rather simply adding to the "noise" with one line "tnx for posting" replies.

Forum moderators are not there simply to ban transgressors. Their job is to keep the forum on the "right track" and hopefully to keep the peace.

I will split this thread and keep it in "Web Hosting" because this is where the "hosting company" posters are abundant.

People please, you know who you are and so do we, just don't lie about it, honesty truly is the best policy.

No it's fine, you are two different people and we have the full story, suspicions are quelled.

I was aware that Shirlyn post out of the UK offices of HQHost and am aware that so many of the "hosting companies" are actually one and the same parent company just using different names to target different marketplaces.

Similarly with hosting companies that declare they have their "own datacentre" so many of these are actually leasing rackspace in datacentres owned by companies such as BlueConnex (Blue Square DCs). Eukhost and Poundhost being two of these.

If routing to your website goes through AS29550 or AS34920 networks it's in a Blue Square DC.

I have tried to find something decent via Coogle and have found some info about the mentioned company, that's why I have decided to ask the members of this forum about them. Can you recommend me the other host with Switzerland location?

I wonder, if the location within such a small region as Europe may influence the performance being located not in Switzerland, but say, in Belgium?

AS for me, I think the reliable company is reliable for everyone wherever they are.

I have heard there are no many decent companies in Switzerland but yazu host seems to be dependable.
Why not trying them to share your experience with us?

At present, I have no good idea about Switzerland server but as a substitute of it, I prefer you to acquire Virtual Private Servers from different hosting providers that can be found on internet upon performing a bit research.

But...Switzerland is just so much more neutral than all the others!
In all seriousness though, a server located in any of those countries are way more expensive and provide no benefits compared to North American located servers except for the laws...Which may or may not allow you to host some illegal content.
