hi guys... looking for advice on where to go...

dedicated server
dual processor system
1gb of ram +
freebsd + plesk + the rest
unmetered line or 2000gb+ xfer per month
mysql
uptime uptime uptime

we were very happy with our current host (been with them over a year) until recently when we started inquiring about doing upgrades over the last 2 weeks. i have left more than 10 messages on different people's voicemails and have never been called back. frankly, i'm ******, my server admin is ******, and the boss is extremely ****** (fill in the *'s). we cannot understand why our host will not call us back and help us spend more money. our business has gone through the roof... we are about to crack 2000gb transfer this month... and we are not even in our peak part of the season yet.

i'm looking for someone with a decent rate, 24/7 tech support, exceptional uptime, and a customer service department that will actually pick up a phone, and call me back.

any suggestions are appreciated

i would suggest getting colocation maybe. try http://www.coloquest.com they have good rep. they are tier 3

thanks iceman... we are on the fence about buying a server and colocating it even though that may be our best solution. the site is the one in my signature... http://www.cbslimited.com

Unless you have experience in administering a server, I would reccomened against going colo. If something on the server fails, it's your responsobility to get it fixed and you'll have to pay the data center to do it for you.

I would reccomend getting a managed dedicated server from somewhere like The Planet or EV1Servers.
