I am doing a research on different web hosting companies. I am looking for a list of English web hosting companies (but not absolutely US) and I need as many as possible. I appreciate if you could post here the names of those companies so I can continue with my research a little faster.

The google and other search engines will help you to find your desired web hosting companies. Please do a bit effort and I believe that you will get best results.

Review sites may help. Just for fiding out certian host names and their sites. Webostingstuff, or hostsearch.com could be used here.

I would suggest looking at Web Hosting Geeks Blog and Web Hosting Industry Reviews.

Surprising to see Google directory is no longer available. Just search for the term web hosting on Google, and you will see millions of results. You can start compiling a list from there.

Or look in the web hosting offers section, compile a list from there also.

Indeed, interesting to see the Google directory gone. It was basically a copy of DMOZ, so I think this is further proof that DMOZ is well past its prime. Anyway, DMOZ and its list of hosting companies are still there for the time being.

I'd like to say that marblehost company has their DC in UK and their services are not pricey and full-featured.

What exactly is it in a list you are looking for?
