Hi, I've just added on a domain to my bluehost account and I want to design the site using WordPress. Problem is, I'm not entirely sure how to do this as my primary domain is already using WordPress.

Anyone know how I do this?

Many Thanks

You should be able to add more domains to your BlueHost account Via the 'Addon Domains' page of cPanel. ( they allow multiple domains for their hosting plan )

Make sure that you create the folder for the addon domain in your home directory NOT as a sub-folder of public_html.

A better way to do this would be to use the "Parked Domains" feature of your cPanel

Parked domains would ALL use the same installation of wordpress on the primary domain root and simply be mirror site.

By the wording of the post, Danny wants the second installation to be independent on the second domain.

Oh and as a addendum to my earlier post.

If your hosting account only allows for ONE database, give the second Wordpress install a different table prefix.

Parking really doesn't seem to be what the OP is looking for.

Angelosanto, you should ask the host for advice as well. If they're worth their salt, they should be able to give you the right guidance.

Parking a domain is only for multiple domains but one site.
You'd have to do a add-on domain for multiple domains AND multiple sites.

I managed to do it before I read this, but I created the folder as a sub-folder of public_html. What problems is this going to cause for me?

when you create the addon in public_html it effectively becomes a sub-folder of the "main" site which you beed to be aware of when creating categories.

Secondly and MORE importantly, the root .htaccess directives will ALSO affect everything in the sub-folder as well. So you could end up with clashing rewrite rules etc.

You need to create sub folder through Cpanel (automaticaly) not manually using FTP access only.

Cpanel helps you to create multiple domains using wordpress but it only possible if your web hosting provide extra space for sub domains. You can create sub domain using cPanel if your hosting provider allowed the bandwidth allocation for sub domain.
