just to report back, I have picked up a hybrid with KH. I have 1 site sitting there without any traffic on it really. Need to get all of the sites over there. just havent pulled the trigger yet. More wanted to let a week or so roll by with random support requests to see how everything works.

start knowing the reason behind the downtime or problem first then if it has really to do with your host. Start checking out reviews specially on forums because you can interact with live people and share there experiences.

I talked to no less than 7 different reps on the phone. They would all say the same thing. They were sorry but didnt see anything on the server side and that it must be the script across 65 different sites being slow.

I got off of HG and moved to KH and I can say that it was nothing script related. It was all HG servers.

you guys must be reading the first topic and then just quick replying. I contacted them OVER AND OVER AND OVER as the other posts state. They would either lie about the reason, offer to move me to other servers and after several server moves the same thing would happen. Generally it was due to someone else on the server doing some sort of hacking or phishing attempt causing them to lock everything down etc.

We get it - They are poor in investigating and maintaining their servers. They should have at least dropped the other person causing these issues on the servers instead of giving you the run around.

I had a similar problem and the issue ended up being on my end, apparantly some bots that constantly search your site to scrape content ended up plagueing my websites. Once I blocked the ip in htaccess all was good again.
