What ASP web hosting would you recommend?

I've been searching for the best ASP web hosting companies since I'm about to set up my new ASP-based website. I've stumbled upon the site http://www.webhostingsearch.com/asp-hosting.php and I'm wondering if the hosting companies listed here would work in some web applications (i.e., Dreamweaver). Also, I'm looking for a host with 24 hours support. Any comment/feedback will be appreciated. Many thanks!

Why? Are you going to be working for twenty four hours every day?
You only need your hosting support to work the same hours that you do.
You won't know the "best hosting company" until YOU have tried them all yourself.
Dreamweaver is NOT a "web application" it is a desktop application for developing webpages. The site management in dreamweaver uses FTP to connect to the remote host, so unless you opt for a very cheap or "free" host that only allows for uploading documents with their system or control panel, it shouldn't matter what tool you are using.
So are you looking for a single site account on shared hosting?
A reseller package?
A VPS?
AND by the way this board is for ASP.NET CODING problems NOT a hosting board.
I'll flag the post for moving.

24 hour support is hard to find - I was lucky enough to find it.
Like chris said, you have to try them to know if they are the best for you.

Among small providers, yes, true 24/7 support is unlikely to be found, though many will claim it nevertheless. Bigger providers have the resources and reasons to provide 24/7 support though. When you have thousands of customers from all over the world, it makes sense to handle their issues as they come, especially in a business where, by its very nature, service is provided 24/7.

Well, I have an odd and varying schedule. Typically I'm around a computer on and off 16 hours a day. So, I could and do contact companies at all hours of the day (and night). That being said, I suppose I contact a host twice a year, if that. That is with a good, stable host, because extended uptime will eventually result in a ticket.
I do agree with you that a more typical customer will not require 24/7 support, because he has a life offline too. However, hosts have customers from very different time zones, and their active hours will in effect spread over the entire day.

Sure but YOU specifically do not need 24/7 support.
If the "you" is actually a "we" (a bigish company) requiring your website to be operational 24 hours a day, it is more likely to be the case where you run your own servers and have your own IT department monitoring the systems in shifts.
If you are a reseller, it is YOUR responsibilty to provide support NOT the company you lease the server from.

Basically, I need a 24-hr hosting support so I can contact them just in case I encounter a problem. Plus, I'm working in diff schedules for a certain time. So there
Currently, I'm reading reviews of diff hosts. From there, I will base what's the best hosting company for me.
Btw, thank you for all the replies! Very much appreciated.

Same here. Sometimes I work more than 8 hours and in diff schedules so it's a plus if I found a host that would give the support I need.

Please people, that's what you have a control panel for. If the server has that many problems, it's a new host you need NOT twentyfour - seven support!
Also if you need day to day "handholding" from tech support, it is YOUR problem and you need to learn more and they are not there to teach you.
Tech support is not there to set mailboxes up, configure a database for you, or change the odd setting in DNS, if you cannot do that when YOU need to you have the wrong type of account.
I've been running servers as managed, unmanaged and co-located plus several personal and reseller hosting accounts from various assorted providers since 1993 and if I have had to contact the hosting support teams more than three or four times a year I've been unlucky.
Don't kid yourselves that you NEED twentyfour hour support from the provider because as I said earlier if you do, then you have the wrong type of account.

You never know when you'll have an issue. I guess it is more peace of mind to have this sort of 24/7 availability. I sure don't mind having it just incase I need it.
I actually have used it once and called at 3AM.

If your search is running dry, another suggestion is to go Linux and go PHP instead of ASP. Windows is too expensive and less prevalent on the market anyway.

I recommend HostGotar as ASP web hosting service provider. This is really great for ASP. Some other web hosting service provider for ASP are Blue Hosting and Monster Hosting.

I have my websites with (Java/JSP) applications hosted in onlinecares ( http://www.onlinecares.com). I'm not sure whether they support ASP; may be better check with them for their VPS plans with ASP since they support third party applications for an extra price.
