I am looking for a host that would provide support for SMPP.

My website is already being hosted somewhere else, but i would like to establish a perminent connection with an SMS gateway via SMPP.

SMPP (Short Message Peer to Peer) protocol is an open industry standard messaging protocol designed to simplify integration of data applications with wireless mobile networks. The protocol is widely deployed in the mobile telecommunications industry.

What i need is a host that could have an SMPP client installed and tested on their server which supports at least support SMPP version 3.3 which i could then use to connect to my SMS Gateway.

Well, to be honest with you i didn't think that there would be a host that has an SMPP client installed.

This may actually force me to set up my own server.

The only objective i have of setting up my own server is to establish the connection with SMS Gateway via SMPP, and from the sounds of it, it would most likely have to be a Linux system, which i have ABSOLUTELY no idea about.

Any advice anyone would care to give me?
