Ok, this is probably more e-mail than hosting (maybe its coding and scripts, I'll leave it up to a Mod to decide if they want to move it).

Basically, I'm looking to set up a system for a client which will involve 10 domain names being parked on one hosting account. I'll be using Mod Rewrite to redirect 9 of them to pages in the site, but my problem comes with e-mail.

For parked domains the host delivers e-mails to the corresponding main inbox (so for example enquiries@domain2.com and enquiries@domain3.com will all be delivered to enquiries@domain1.com).

What I really want is separate e-mail addresses for each site, so enquiries@domain1.com and enquiries@domain2.com would be separate POP boxes.

I think I read once about a way on Linux/Apache to get the data from a mailbox on the server, then process it using a script. Does anyone know anything about this, or have any other suggestions for getting round this problem (my host wants to charge me $10/month for each extra domain if I want separate e-mail).

Your post looked lonely David, so for what it's worth:

Set up all the various pop boxes you need on the main account. You might have enquiries1@, enquiries2@, etc.

Then have the corresponding email addresses for the individual sites forward their email to the relevant POP box.

So enquiries@site1.com forwards to enquiries1@mainsite.com;
enquiries@site2.com forwards to enquiries2@mainsite.com;
etc.
