Hi peeps,

I'm looking for a new host and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of where to look for a host that can offer my requirements. I've been spoiled rotten by the support desk of my current webhost (they have 24/7 live chat and are *always* available) but unfortunately they themselves are too often the reason why I need to contact them. (when I do, they fix it, but if I'm asleep it becomes a problem)

What I need is:

- 1000Mb or more space
- 30Gig or more transfer
- cpanel
- mysql
- php
- ImageMagick/GD
- preferably unlimited domains (not subdomains)
- 24/7 live chat support!

I could list a ton of other stuff but it's all pretty much standard anyways.

Oh and no.. I won't be running any pron on my sites.. almost exclusively gaming forums.

Any ideas and if so, any experiences with that host?

Well, with the current host I'd pay $60 a year for a package with 1gig,50gig/5 domains. That's pretty cheap and if they wouldn't be mucking with the server so much I'd love to stick with them. But I realise cheap isn't always best and with more than 5 domains, costs are higher...

I'd say no more than twice that figure... It's still a hobby with some future plans, not making any cash yet.

The ideal package isn't there yet, though one is close. Most of the replies do -not- have the 24x7 live chat support.

I think you ask a lot for how much are you willing to pay.Who is offering you this features for only 60$ a year is a bit overselling,though i wish you only luck in finding such host.

Yup, like I said, that price was too low. But like I said, double that would still be okay.

Anyways, the close one was the right one afterall (had a lengthy chat with their support) thanks all for your replies!

Please imagine, how much would it be cost to hire a 24 x 7 support staff? It is not easy to servive with the price you offer. If you use the space for your personal Website, I think it should fine. But if you are intend to use it for business, I suggest you to go for affordablr host not cheap host.

You might do better with a server that's not down all the time so there's not as much need for a 24x7 tech support. Unlimited domains will mean that you are looking for a reseller, right?
