Okay here is the deal......www.1and1.com are offering 6 months free hosting and a free domain, usual price after that is $9.99 per month. I have used them since Jan 2004 and have several sites on the same package they are offering here and it works well.

I have seen them faster than other companies, but I don't know
how is their uptime (I saw 99.9% in their web site)
I see also that they offer good VPS (virtual private servers)
on cheap prices ! They offering also one of the cheapest domain name registration on the net !
But I have seen very bad reviews from their CLIENTS !
(SUPPORT PROBLEMS, problem with domain name transfer on another domain name registrator.)

I don`t want to be rude or make you guys missunderstand me but from what i heard they suck big time.

I use 1and1.co.uk as my domain registrar and have had no problems, don't know what their hosting is like tho...

Got a few domain's with 1and1, no problems there however seems to be problems with
there hosting, support & script wise

Can you transfer one domain name to other registrar
pls do it and tell me. ARE THEY ALLOW YOU !?

Yes, just go and use transfer, the domain has to be ACTIVE status not LOCKED

As far as i know they offer domain registration only to US & UK .

I just wanted to clarify that I think this offer is only valid in the USA.
