We're a small design company that provides hosting to about 400 clients with varying needs. We currently host with a company in the US but they are terrible when it comes to support, this year alone we've had untold issues that takes them weeks to sort out. It's a reseller account that we have with them and they charge us about $60 a month, so called "unlimited bandwidth" and about 4 GB disk space. Some of the specs are OS = red hat linux, control panel = WHM / cpanel, weekly backup, CGI, Perl, PHP, Cron Jobs, MS Frontpage™ Extensions, Unlimited MySQL Databases, PhpMyAdmin Support, Web Based Statistics, Secure Server Includes (SSI), Unlimited POP3 Accounts, Unlimited FTP Accounts
....etc

We're looking for a similar solution but with brilliant support which we don't currently get, don't mind it being a bit more expensive as long as the support is there.

Please help! because of the non-co-operation from these people, our clients are starting to leave us....useful leads would be grealty appreciated.

When you choosing hosting the first thing we would suggest is a support.

Do you have details of the bandwidth used at present. It they are small sites I can't see it being a problem

Like I usually said, paying $60/month may not means that you got ripped. It's simply that you bumped into a wrong host. If you are looking for reliability, go for something around the current price that you are paying. It's pretty reasonable.

The key thing here is you purchased a too good to be true deal and in return found out it was too good to be true. Unlimited bandwidth does not exsist, so if you see a host offering this, turn the other way.
