Sorry if there is already a thread about this, but the search doesnt seem to be working right at the moment.

Can anyone recommend any good hosts based in the UK.

I'm setting up an online store for some one, needs perl, MySQL > 200 MB space and nice high bandwidth.

Any reason why you want a UK host? We are UK based but all our prices are in US dollars as are our servers in order to aim at the global market. It's only going to be a problem to you if you don't have a credit card or PayPal account. Dime difference shoudn't be an issue either with proper hosts who offer true 24/7 support.

Hi 1000rpm,

I don't mind paying in US$, but we're after a host based in the UK because it's a UK business with most (if not all) customers in the UK, so having servers in the UK is the better options.

I agree with quick. I've heard nothing but praise for Unitedhosting. Although they are a UK host their servers are located in the EV1.net datacentre in Texas, USA.
