Does a server that supports alot of languages cost more than ones that supports few languages. You might think this sounds stupid. But i saw host that support lots of languages for a lower price than more costly hosts.

Hmm... It depends on what you mean with language support. Do you mean cPanel or do you mean the server OS or something else? For cPanels, it's common to have them support a variety of languages.

Well, speaking from our own experience, pricing certainly isn't based really at all on the number of languages we support -- it's a combination of factors, including support costs, bandwidth costs, hardware costs, administrative costs, etc., etc.

In theory, it's possible I suppose to support a whole ton of different languages... the obvious caveat being that 99% of sites would use only a handful of different scripting languages. For example, I've never seen someone use scheme for a website; although I bet it's possible to do, and it's probably quite possible to support :P

You may see some variance, I suppose, based on costs to support things like ASP or ColdFusion, if commercial packages are being utilized for that purpose.

Supported languages usually don't play a role in pricing unless the language has high license costs or is resource intensive, such as java and coldfusion.

Other languages like Perl, Python, PHP etc.. are pretty much freebies.

Normally supported languages do not play the biggest role in determining the price. The more important factors would be bandwidth, hardware, administration, and support costs. However, when it comes to languages like ColdFusion, Java (and Microsoft SQL Server for the database), these do make a bit difference on the price.

Cheers.
