I'm looking to do a site using PHP/MySQL, but I need the hosting costs to be pretty low to start with. I've used GoDaddy so far, but they seem fairly slow and I've read some bad things about them.

I'd like to know who is a good (and fairly cheap) website hosting company. I don't need a lot of diskspace or bandwidth, I just need it to be fast and reliable.

Please don't post if you own the hosting company, because I already know that yours is the best. I'd rather hear from webmasters who actually use the hosting company.

totalchoicehosting.com is a great host, you may want to try them out.

although we're a hosting company as well as a web designing company, our webmasters and designers are recommending globat.com...
maybe we should specify in their contarcts not to advertise other companies
