Looking at the BlueHost package, they offer free domains with or without something they call domain privacy:
http://www.bluehost.com/privacy.html
Is this something worthwile having, or is it a way of registering the domains for themselves without us noticing? They say on that page above that the domain will still be ours but the contact details will be theirs. They seem a reputable and long-standing host otherwise.
