1and1 is a big company, but it doesn't have a very good reputation in web hosting industry. You may simply make a search at any larger hosting forum and you'll find lots of user reviews.

Well dataflame is a much better choice than 1&1. I've heard some good things about them.

Well, if you are interested in UPHosted, I think we could find some custom payment method just for you.

The only payment method I could think of is escrow.com, but they have high transfer fees.

Take a look at Total Choice Hosting. They are a very good and reliable company.

http://www.speedyhosted.com is just a 5 min's bodge job; all they have done is brought a domain and directed there name servers to Resellerpanel.com, when you contact Speedyhosted you are not contacting them you are contacting Resellerpanel, a real host does not just buy a domain a real host will support there customers.

I use 1&1 and have been absolutely satisfied with them. They have made great strides in the last couple of years in polishing their control panel and now it is among the best I have seen. Email and uptime is nearly flawless.

It's scary when I think that my business might depend on someone at 1and1. You might want to check this thread:

We have had some negative experiences and some passable ones too.
IPowerWeb- Great Control Panel but servers go down on a regular basis

GoDaddy Virtual Dedicated Server - Does have Plesk 7.5 control panel and auto backups,(50/mo) Very restrictive, much of PHP would not run, Tech worthless, cheap price. You get what you pay for, this is no bargain!

Blue Genesis - Moderately expensive (host 20 domains for $130/mo) Good Tech but system does not support Dreamweaver very well, using SSL is a nightmare if running php, will not allow PEAR, Sites are up 95%. Good customer service, each account has it's own rep. phpMyAdmin not available.

ICD Soft-Does not allow resellers, no "live" tech support but emails are handled promptly and usually on 1st try, reasonable rates and features, good php support, Easy to use control panel, ability to do manual backups. Price is good at $60/yr.

We are looking for a new host for a reseller account if anyone has any suggestions.
