Hi,
I signed up for a free site at freewebsites.com, and things went well for a while, then suddenly I stopped being able to log in for FTP access. The website is still up, but I can't update it. I've moved on, bought a domain name and found a more reputable host, but the old version of my page is still out there and I can't take it down.
There aren't any email addresses on their page and their help and FAQ sections are under construction (I know, I should have thought about that when I signed up). I tried emailing
info@freewebsites.com and postmaster@freewebsites.com, and I even tried contacting the web design company that designed their site, but none of those addresses work. I went to whois.net to try and get contact information, but it said something like the daily limit of connections had been exceeded.
Any ideas on how I can edit or close my account would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
